We are looking for a human resources and staffing manager to join our team. Reporting to the general management, this person will be responsible for HR management, recruitment, talent development, and the strategic planning of staff assignments for our projects. They will play a key role in maintaining a healthy and high-performing work environment, while ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.

Develop and implement recruitment and employee retention strategies
Coordinate staff assignments for projects in collaboration with production managers
Monitor schedules, availability, and staffing needs for technical and administrative teams
Oversee onboarding, training, and employee performance evaluations
Keep employee records up to date and ensure HR compliance
Support team members and foster a healthy, inclusive, and engaging work environment
Contribute to short-, mid-, and long-term workforce planning
Participate in organizational development and continuous improvement of HR processes
Post job openings and conduct candidate pre-screening
Schedule and lead hiring interviews
Communicate assignments and follow up on availability
Update staffing tools (scheduling charts, HR databases, etc.)
Assist in managing employment contracts and payroll administration (in collaboration with the accounting team)
Track schedules for payroll preparation
Generate HR reports and periodic summaries related to staffing
Organize team meetings and engagement activities
Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR management, ideally in the event or creative industries
Strong skills in planning, communication, and priority management
Highly organized with strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English
Familiarity with HR tools, scheduling systems, or planning software (an asset)
Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
